Notice to ALL Visitors

Studio Entry

 

Our focus is on helping to keep our students & instructors healthy.

​

If you are feeling unwell, please do not visit the studio.

​

**Feeling unwell includes, but is not limited to, respiratory issues (cough, running nose, fever, shortness of breath).

 

**Please do not enter if you have recently travelled outside Canada. You will need to postpone your visit until after 14 days from travel to reduce the risk of spreading infection to our staff. We have virtual classes available please contact us for info or reference our website.

When entering the studio, please follow these hygiene protocols for your safety and ours:

  • Wash hands with soap and water before and after entering.

  • Hand sanitizer is available at our reception desk for use.

  • If you cough or sneeze, use a tissue or into your bent elbow and wash or sanitize your hands immediately afterwards.

  • No shaking of hands, hugging, or touching.

  • You must be registered for class prior to entering the studio. 

  • Please wear your MASKS (must cover nose, mouth and chin), sanitize your "cubby" and place items inside.  Masks are to be worn throughout the studio unless you are in your designated dance space.

 

We are following this temporary protocol to help keep everyone safe, we realize every individual has their personal beliefs and we want to respect everyone as that is what SHE is all about. This protocol represents our way of supporting all beliefs and doing our part to keep us all healthy and safe.

Safety Protocols

  • Class size is capped at 5 students in-studio and 1 instructor. 

  • Poles are more than 10 feet (3 metres) apart.

  • Classes are staggered to allow staff to disinfect the studio after each class.

  • Masks are mandatory in the studio and encouraged within your dance space.

  • Cleaning spray/ towels are provided although we recommend students to bring their own pole towels.

  • No sharing of towels, bottles or poles!

Studio Etiquette
  • Please arrive dressed and ready for class - there are "cubby stations" available for you to sanitize and store your items, personal items are not to be left on studio floor.

  • Registration is required to attend class, we cannot accept drop ins at this time.

  • Please sanitize and mask up before entering the studio, mind the 10 feet distancing rules and once you are ready you can remove mask to move to your dance space.

  • Be prepared with two towels to sanitize your pole and space before and after class. The studio will have a spray bottle there for you.

Please keep in mind we are learning NEW INFO everyday regarding Covid-19. Our goal is to respect the current policies while trying to keep the studio a positive empowering space. there are clients that are High Risk and we want to make sure we are providing a safe space for them to return as well, please respect the studio policies and stay home if you feel unwell in the slightest. Contact us with any questions/concerns & we are happy to discuss.

 

SHE babe rules apply to ensure classes run smoothly and that everyone receives the best possible experience

every time they step on the dance floor.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

We require full payment to reserve your spot in a class. If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, please UNREGISTER at least 5 hours before class to avoid losing your credit.

 

All sales are final and non-refundable for workshops, parties, products and gift certificates.

 

How can I pay for my classes?

The Wix app accepts Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. Debit is NOT available at this time. Please message us if you need to send an e-transfer.

Are cameras or cell phones allowed?

As a courtesy to your fellow students, we ask that you put your cell phone ringer on silent. However, we do encourage you to take progress photos and feel free to tag them with #shepoledance.

 

What if I'm not flexible, a dancer, have no upper body strength?

Great, then our beginner babe classes are perfect for you! The beginner classes are build to help you gain the strength you need to progress. Check out our Beginner Babes page for a list of appropriate classes.

 

Is there an age limit?

If you are at least 18 years old (for insurance purposes), you are welcome to join us. Otherwise, there is no age limit, as long as you are healthy enough to participate.

 

I am pregnant, can I take classes?

Please talk with the studio manager or owner to let us know which stage of pregnancy you are at. We will be sure to assess and create a special pole dance and flexibility program for you through this amazing time. 

 

Do you offer private lessons?

Absolutely! Check out our Pricing page, under the Classes tab, for more details.

 

What kind of poles do you have?

We have 10 chrome poles that vary between 40 and 45mm. They are set to spin, but can also be adjusted to static.

 

Are there change rooms?

We have a bathroom on-site that you are welcome to use.

 

Can my ____ come watch me in class?

No, we don't have a wait room. For the safety and comfort of our SHE babes, we do not allow non-members to watch classes. Besides, wouldn't you rather they see a polished and well-practiced routine at our next showcase?

 

What should I bring or wear?

We're glad you asked! Here's a list of what we would suggest.

DO'S

  • Tank top, t-shirt or sports bra

  • Shorts, leggings or fitted pants

  • Bottle of water

  • Leg warmers (recommended)

  • Knee pads (check class description)

  • Pole grip

  • A notebook (to record progress)

  • Pole heels or shoes (check class description)

DO NOT'S

  • Remove rings and jewelry

  • Avoid applying lotion or sunscreen prior to class
